romance makes the world turn, which is why I always have a good book handy

There seems to be two kinds of people in the world: those who love romance novels and those who hate them. Clearly, I’m in the former group.

I first began reading romance novels when I downloaded one by accident, and haven’t gone back since. My room slowly began to look like a bookstore, there are so many books piled everywhere. I’ve read some amazing books, some okay books, and some that I struggled to even finish. There are ten books though, that have remained my favorites, which I promote to anyone who is willing to listen. Since you’ve visited my blog, I’m going to go right ahead and assume you’re interested, so here they are.

Top Ten Best Historical Romance Novels:

1.     Splendid (Julia Quinn)
2.     Tempt Me At Twilight (Lisa Kleypas)
3.     Lord Of Scoundrels (Loretta Chase)
4.     England’s Perfect Hero (Suzanne Enoch)
5.     Only A Duke Will Do (Sabrina Jefferies)
6.     Truly A Wife (Rebecca Hagan Lee)
7.     Gentle Rogue (Johanna Lindsey)
8.     Once And Always (Judith McNaught)
9.     The Beauty Of Bond Street (Jacqueline Navin)
10. Lord Of Ice (Gaelen Foley)

Honorable Mentions:

·      To Pleasure a Prince (Sabrina Jefferies)
·      Suddenly You (Lisa Kleypas)
·      Sin and Sensibility (Suzanne Enoch)
·      A Perfect Hero (Samantha James)

Of course there are many, many books out there that I haven’t read, which probably makes the list incomplete. In my quest to find the best of the best, I pledge to keep reading (really with so many books yet to read, why would I stop) and promise to report back.
